1. Engagement & scope
Each project begins with a written proposal that includes creative scope, deliverables, timelines, and investment. Acceptance of the proposal and payment of the project retainer confirms your engagement with Vintage Motion.
2. Deliverables & revisions
We provide deliverables as outlined in the proposal. Two refinement rounds are included unless otherwise specified. Additional revisions, out-of-scope requests, or new concepts are billed separately.
3. Payments & billing
- 50% retainer is due on project acceptance to schedule crew and resources.
- 25% is invoiced before production or asset creation begins.
- Final 25% is due before master files are released.
- Late payments may pause production and incur a 2% monthly service fee.
4. Ownership & usage
Upon full payment, Vintage Motion grants usage rights defined in the proposal. Raw footage, project files, and working assets remain property of Vintage Motion unless otherwise licensed.
5. Cancellations
If a project is cancelled by the client, completed work and booked resources are invoiced. Retainers are non-refundable but may be credited to a rescheduled project within six months.
6. Liability
Vintage Motion is not liable for delays caused by factors outside our control, including weather, travel issues, or late client approvals. Our liability is limited to the amounts paid for the project.
7. General
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be handled in the jurisdiction of Patna, Bihar. Updates to these terms will be published on our website with a revised effective date.
